A nice, quick overview of the C# language that is perfect for not only teaching beginners the language, but also getting them into it.
For beginning Very good
Great apps, alot of example help understand quickly. Woul recommand for beginner! A+
I finished the tutorials and tried to practice, and create my own code. After a day of non-successful code execution, I discovered this app is nearly 3 years out of date
Lack of explanation, doesnt worth 2 dollars you can find same knowledge much deeper and in a better explained way in your safari browser:(
Plz update with italian language and more lessons for advanced users :)
This is terrible!!! This is suppose to be for beginners, if a beginner (like me) was trying to learn C# this is so confusing. This basically just gives the user definitions. Does not explain much And just leaves the user completely lost. Thought this would be like a step by step how to.... Reading books is more informational than this. WHAT A JOKE. WOULD LIKE MY MONEY BACK.DONT BE FOOLED LIKE WAS.
I have to say u am studying C# and this is a handy reference. I do think the should add bit more. Maybe allow movement between pages when your in a call. It cuts off the bottom. The need more graphics and to understand data flow from software to hardware but overall handy app. I enjoy it and I dont know anything about programing in C#.
Recommend
Good app for brushing up before a test or looking back for when youre stumped on a project.
Maybe its a decent reference for people who already know programming. But for newbies, dont bother; its confusing & useless.
Concise to follow. Good supplement to textbooks
While Ill credit the app for being a handy reference guide, thats as far as my praise can go. While the app is touted as an app for beginners it is very hard to move from one topic to the next. While you can tell from the reference code someone put work into it I must warn "beginners" to think twice before purchasing this app. I gave two stars because once you get an understanding of C# from other material this is a nice reference.
This guide is not thorough at all. Doesnt even discuss inheritance, let alone polymorphism or even the basics of object oriented programming...
Limited info
This is a great app to learn C#, I only know C++ and I want to expand my knowledge of programmig languages. It explains good, not perfect, on C#. They do have great programming examples and problems for you to solve on your own, before looking at the answer. The reason why I rate it a 4 out 5 stars is because the app has its minor mistakes such as having extra writing on a line, and highlighting wrong details like for example; accout += income is the same as account = account + income but instead of putting "account += income" in a box (showing with a arrow), they put a part from the output comment. Overall the app is great for its price, I would definitely recommend it to anyone whos interested in learning C#. In addition, I would like to see an update showing more advance information/coding programs to work on with solutions.
Easier to read, refer & carry than textbooks
But content, bang on!
There are mistakes in the coding syntax in multiple places. I wish Id just done a free Google search instead of paying $1.99 for this basic power point style overview of C#.
